• It is common though for our mats to have a strong but harmless odor when they are first unrolled. The smell will fade with time and usage however you can expedite the process by leaving your mat unrolled in an open space for a few days. Also, cleaning the mat with a gentle mat wash when first received can help. Here is a mat wash recipe idea: a mixture of water and witch hazel.
